Rapid-prototyping new game concepts
Glu Mobile wanted to develop the next big game to follow on the heels of the success of Covet Fashion and Design Home. In my role as Creative Director, I was part of a core team that identified and researched the opportunities, created the game design and prototype, and tested with potential users.

Wedding Game
One of the concepts we explored was the idea of a realistic wedding game, where you could help the bride or groom design their dream wedding using real fashion and decor. We talked to a lot of users about their wedding fantasies and immersed ourselves in wedding media to better understand the market and the audience’s desires.
I designed all UI, visual assets and copy - and worked with the engineering team to implement a full in-engine playable prototype. Though this concept tested strongly, we decided to go with a different concept in the end.
Design System
Though this project was not taken through full production, I always like to develop a UI design system while I work, so that I can ensure consistency of design, as well as to facilitate UI implementation with the engineering team.
Travel Game
This prototype for a Travel game was designed to allow players to simulate the experience of fabulous vacations around the world, and sharing those experiences with others.
As part of a core team, I collaborated in a small group to create and iterate on the game design, as well as to test and iterate with the potential audience. I also designed the UI, created all mocks, XD prototypes, and visual assets.
